Art of Fire is a full-scale working art glass studio. Located in a renovated dairy barn in Northern Montgomery County, it is the mid-Atlantic's largest state-of-the-art studio. Breezy Hill Farm, in the rolling hills of Woodbine, MD, is home to Heather’s fiber studio and boutique where she dyes, felts, spins, and weaves beautiful roving, yarns, and wearable works of fiber art. The majority of the fiber she uses in her work comes from the family’s herd of alpaca and other fiber animals, resulting in luxuriously soft and warm creations. Crafters of all skill levels are sure to find roving and yarns that will delight them, and those who prefer already-finished crafts will love the unique scarves and shawls Heather creates. Visitors are also welcome to tour the farm and meet the alpaca and other animals!

Historic Lindenwood Farm was built in the 1850's and Claire's Studio and Gallery is located behind the Victorian farmhouse in a renovated chicken coop. Her richly textured oil paintings reflect her love of the beautiful rural countryside, local beaches, and lovingly tended flower gardens and farm animals.

Dancing Leaf Farm is a small cottage industry featuring Dalis’ own line of hand dyed yarn, fiber, and wearables. Located on two acres overlooking Sugarloaf Mountain and the Catoctin and Blue Ridge Mountain ranges, Dalis’ charming studio houses an array of colorful yarns (some from the sheep that graze the back field) and fiber for spinners and felters. For the non-craft people, Dalis has artsy accessories like felted scarves, shawls and hand knit items, and paintings made with wool that I call ‘lambscapes’.

Her Map of Montgomery County’s Agricultural Reserve, Books, Art and Gardens reveal her passion for nature.

MudPi Studios was born from the creative passions of Lori Baker and is currently located at Heron’s Meadow Farm in Woodbine, MD. Heron’s Meadow Farm is Maryland’s first (and only) tea farm and is host to many inspirational views, wildlife, and MudPi teapots. Visitors to the farm can sample some of our teas, shop for their new favorite mug from the mug tree, walk through herb gardens, or simply relax on the patio. Whether it’s a new tea to try or a new stoneware creation on display in the pottery studio, there is always something exciting happening at Heron’s Meadow Farm.

Sandy Spring Museum is home to eleven resident artists who work in a wide variety of mediums, including fiber, clay, enamel, silver and acrylic. The museum is located in quaint Sandy Spring on a wooded 7-acre campus where you can stroll and picnic in addition to enjoying the talents of this diverse group of artists. Products for sale include jewelry, fine arts and crafts, pottery, quilts, and more. Some of the artists use items from the museum’s historic collection as a source of inspiration in their work. All of the artists will make custom items on commission.

Windsong Studio, behind the 1912 home of its artist, Cynthia Jennings, is nestled in the quiet town of Barnesville, surrounded by the vista of Sugarloaf Mountain. It is there that you will find Cynthia’s paintings in a variety of mediums and subjects, featuring local landscape and lake scenes from the Adirondacks. She is passionate about repurposing salvaged elements and frequently uses them in her work: mixing old and new in jewelry designs, painting on reclaimed wood, and making her own frames with salvaged wood. Windsong Studio is thrilled to share pieces inspired by nature with a focus on recycling the past.
