The Countryside Artisans of Maryland represents a selected group of accomplished visual, sculptural, and textile artists working in oil, pastel, watercolor, pencil, ceramics, porcelain, glass, enamel, stone, wood, yarn, textiles, photography, tea, hops, and grapes. The Countryside Artisans jointly open their galleries and studios locted in historic, rural Montgomery, Howard, and Frederick Counties in Maryland for three art tours each year in April, October, and December, Friday, Saturday and Sunday from 10am to 5pm each day.
Spend a day in the country, enjoy scenic drives between studios, stop for artisan beverages, and meet artists in the beautiful settings that inspire their work every day. Come home with a renewed sense of well-being and a wonderful piece of local, original art!
We suggest you map out 5-6 studios for each day. We all have our favorites, but be sure to add a few new ones each tour! You’ll be pleasantly surprised! |
